Riverside Wharf Development Moves Forward With Contractor Selection & Groundbreaking Date

Exciting news for Miami’s riverfront: The highly anticipated Riverside Wharf development has taken a major step forward. The developers have officially selected Moss Construction as the General Contractor and have set a groundbreaking date for June 2025. With this milestone, the project is on track for completion in 2027.

Originally the site of the former Wharf Miami, which closed in August 2023, the Riverside Wharf project has grown into a $300 million vision that aims to redefine luxury hospitality and entertainment along the Miami River. Since the closure of the previous venue, permitting efforts have been actively underway to bring this ambitious project to life.

The Riverside Wharf will feature a 167-room Dream hotel, offering high-end accommodations with stunning waterfront views. Alongside the hotel, the development will include a multi-level entertainment complex designed to elevate Miami’s vibrant nightlife and dining scene.

Among the planned amenities are luxury Asian and Italian Coastal restaurants, promising world-class dining experiences. The entertainment hub will also boast a day club and a night club, catering to both daytime relaxation and high-energy nightlife.

With construction set to begin in a few months, Riverside Wharf is poised to become one of Miami’s premier entertainment and hospitality destinations.
